Wesleyan Homes, Inc., a continuing care retirement community in Georgetown, is looking for a Full-time Certified Medication Aide 7:30A-4:30P alternating weekends for our Wesleyan at Estrella Assisted Living and Memory Care campus. This position reports to the Wellness Director. Candidates must hold a current license under state law which authorizes the licensee to administer medications. One year of experience in geriatrics as a CNA or CMA is preferred. Wesleyan at Estrella’s Certified Medication Aides administer routine prescribed oral medication after preparing the medication to be administered; document administered medications to the resident’s records; observe and report to the Wellness Director reactions and side effects to medications shown by the resident; and take and record vital signs prior to the administration of medication that could affect or change vital signs. Certified Medical Assistants need not apply.
