Free “Senior Resource Fair” on May 22nd in Buda

In honor of National Older Americans Month, AGE of Central Texas will host a free “Senior Resource Fair” on Tuesday, May 22nd, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the Onion Creek Senior Center in Buda.  The event is free and open to the public, and will feature information tables hosted by numerous community and non-profit organizations providing services to Central Texas seniors adults and family caregivers.

Each May, the nation celebrates Older Americans Month to recognize the many ways that older adults make a difference in the community.  This year’s theme is “Engage at Every Age,” emphasizing that you are never too old – or too young – to take part in activities that can enrich your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The Onion Creek Senior Activity Center is located 420 Barton Crossing, Buda, TX 78610.  For more information, call the Center at (512) 295-3413.
